Internship - Testing Engineer

The applicant should join the Outdoor Testing Department which is the R&D function giving support to product development, homologation and industrialization.

The applicant should cooperate with tyre development designers in order to perform the tests required for the assessment of product behavior and performances.

Testing activities support development projects, ensuring continuous progress in research, technology and innovation.

In the frame of the Outdoor Testing Department, the applicant will deal with:

· design the proper testing technique and equipment with the goal of better understanding tyre behavior and tyre performances to support tyre designers
· help technicians and drivers on track instrumenting vehicles and helping during the tests execution
· perform data analysis in order to extract better information from raw data
· planning and testing resources organization in order to satisfy the requirements and the timing of the product development

Requirements

· fluent in Italian and English (B2-C1), German speaking welcome
· knowledge of vehicle dynamic
· knowledge of testing techniques, sensors, equipments
· knowledge of data acquisitions systems, techniques and software
· knowledge of signal analysis and data processing
· knowledge of basic statistical analysis
· knowledge of Matlab

Qualification

· Master in Mechanical Engineering (preferred stream: Ground Vehicles)
