International Tax Senior Specialist

We are looking for an International Tax Senior Specialist who will work within Pirelli HQ's tax department located in Milan, more precisely in the international taxation area with a focus on international tax.
The candidate will support the Group's International Tax team working on the following activities:
• Ongoing tax advice to foreign operating units and management of consultants on site;
• Advising Italian internal stakeholders on international taxation;
• Assistance to foreign operating units in case of extraordinary operations and/or intercompany restructuring projects;
• Assistance and coordination to foreign operational units during tax audit.

 

The candidate should have:
• Master's degree in Economics, preferably with focus on fiscal area;
• 6-8 years of experience in large professional firms (preferably international networks) with an international tax address or in tax departments of multinationals;
• Professional qualification "Dottore commercialista"(plus);
• Excellent knowledge of English.

In addition the candidate should also have good interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams and flexibility.

    Collect info for creating new suppliers
    Aggregation/reduction of suppliers
    Manage the relationship with internal customers
    Issue monthly reports 
    Management of internal catalogues
    Reminder list for codified articles 

 

Profile requirements

The Finance function is based in the Burton on Trent Head Office and is responsible for Pirelli Tyres Ltd and its subsidiaries.

 

This 2-year placement is based in the Management Accounts function of the Finance team, which will provide exposure to the commercial side of accounting: 

 

·  Supporting the team with expense information for reporting purposes
·  Opportunity to learn about the preparation of budgets and forecasting
·  Supporting with the provision of information for analysis of variances to budget within the commercial and logistics functions
·  Assisting with the production and analysis of financial reports and statements

 

The role will entail working with a wide spectrum of people within the organisation, providing the opportunity to develop essential business skills and gaining a good level of experience in the use of SAP, MS-Office and other systems.

 

Please note, this role is for a postgraduate placement and not undergraduate

This is a postgraduate placement opportunity, which will provide the successful candidate with 2 years worth of fantastic hands on work experience within a busy function.

 

The work pattern for this role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 4.30 pm and the salary is £25119.
