Industrial Engineer – Job Description

The trainee will work within the Manufacturing Department in the Industrial Engineering and Pirelli Manufacturing System (PMS) team and he/she will support his/her tutor in the following activities:

· Prepare analysis of the industrial KPIs with the help of digital programming tools
· Assist in developing the improvement programs, such as Smart Manufacturing / Flexible Factory programs
· Interact with other functions of the plant to design process improvement projects
· Drive process improvement projects and kaizen weeks in the plants
· Develop productivity improvement actions for the plants, optimizing the cost/benefit ratio;

Requirements

· Fluent in Italian and/or English.
· Proficiency in programing tools (R, Pytho, etc…) and front-end
· Understanding of basics Lean Manufacturing
· Willingness to cover position abroad (i.e. international mobility)

Qualification

Master Degree in Industrial or Management Engineering
