Job description



MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

To unlock value for the business through enabling high value Investment decisions and / or Performance Interventions via leading business case development including project management lead on implementation on projects.

The incumbent of the role should display the following traits & skills:

Ability to Influence – gaining alignment to understand the business strategy; work across the business; ability to drive forward & execute the business' growth & strategic initiatives

Controls & Stewardship – Business partner on audit & controls measures to ensure as projects are rolled out there is no risk to business operations and that new operations are compliant to GCAD Controls framework.

Strategic partnering – provide high level insight into a business performance; Act as a key stakeholder within decision-making processes and be able to influence with justified answers

Operational knowhow – Support financial planning & analysis, Finance process re-engineering across the business, build new business models

JOB SUMMARY (Responsibilities)

· Monitor, track and challenge performance of category and seek to identify opportunities to close gaps.
· Working as part of cross functional team on performance Interventions as agreed and approved by CCBT, FLT, CDLT projects include rolling out new route to market frameworks such as e-commerce and other B2B models.
· Support development of new trading terms in line with fair and equitable trading terms policy and Net Revenue Management (NRM)
· Automate reporting across business via development & implementation of Power BI reporting tools. This includes supporting as finance partner on Livewire & other I&A efforts.
· End to end Business partner within cross functional team working on Mergers and Acquisitions
· Develop aligned tools and templates for common projects.
· Develop & partner on high profile business cases to activate display the ROI & DCF of the project for leadership decision making.
· Project Manager on technical enhancements to systems such as SAP including implementation of automation & simplification efforts.
· Develop list of info required for different types of projects we work on (e.g. Pricing Scenario's, GM improvement).
· Build capabilities within the team through leveraging diverse experience and best practice.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

· Mininum of a Bachelors' Degree in Finance or Accounting; (Professional Finance Qualification (CIMA) – added advantage)
· Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience from FMCG or a similar Industry, i.e. end-to-end Business Partnering experience
· Strong analytical capability (working knowledge of power BI would be an advantage)
· Proven ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
· Commercial acumen - to understand the bigger picture and manage Stakeholders accordingly
· Financial Flexibility to deal with ‘disruption' (over all Finance experience to allow you to be able to work on multiple and different projects).
· Management Accounting.
· Project Management and Leadership.
