To translate this mission efficiently into action, and to ensure that Unilever complies with its own high standards as well as with the technical aspects of legislation, is the task of the Global Product Compliance team. The GPC is part of the Regulatory Affairs Organization in R&D.

The team supports the whole Unilever portfolio, deals with a high variety in compliance activities and interacts with many functions in Unilever.

We are looking for Cluster Product Compliance Assistant Manager to work in Unilever Office located in Umraniye/Istanbul

JOB SUMMARY

Cluster Business Partnering:

· Act as a compliance business partner to cluster division stakeholders
· Act as a post-lock first point of contact (FPOC) for maintenance and operation of compliance business processes in their area of responsibility
· Implement and execute compliance business processes with speed and efficiency in their area of responsibility for regulatory change or adaption to business needs
· Ensure cluster/local regulatory requirements are defined and maintained in the tools/processes
· Collaboratively work with Cluster Innovation/Advocacy (I/A) regulatory affairs (RA), other internal interfaces and external parties
· Appropriate manage information flow (receiving from Cluster I/A, internal interfaces and external parties and circulation to internal and external interfaces (including authorities)
· Lead post-lock impact assessments according to relevant regulatory changes and issues in the cluster for divisions in their area of responsibility
· Provide the training of R&D and SC for the use of compliance automation and externalisation tools
· Get full engagement from cluster partners for the roll-out or implementation of automated and/or outsourced compliance processes or for the development of new tools

Engagement with Global Product Compliance:

· Collaborative work with GPC teams to identify opportunities to drive speed, efficiency and consistency in compliance processes for the cluster divisions
· Consult with the GPC teams to adapt global ways of working, and receive expertise guidance for compliance issues or improvement

Handling Expertise & Acquisition of Rules (for a defined MCO)

· Act as the FPOC for compliance expertise in their area of responsibility
· Design, maintain and improve a network of internal I/A and external regulatory experts
· Convert regulatory requirements into standardized rules
· Regulatory changes monitoring, and reporting to GPC teams
· Impact assessment on portfolio, process and tools due to regulatory changes
· Outsource (BPO, PSO) management, budgeting, capability and quality assurance

KEY REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food or relevant department (preferably Engineering)
· Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
· Minimum 3 years of experience (preferably in Regulatory or R&D)
· Ability to liaise with other functions, ensuring their timely input to meet compliance requirements
· Attention to details, very-well organised, and logical/systematic thinking
· Capable to pro-actively engage with and manage stakeholders
