Program description
To pursue the long-standing tradition of UniCredit and reflect its European dimension, UniCredit & Universities Foscolo Foundation offers a grant aimed at brilliant students for a 3 months Summer Internship in various areas and in one of the UniCredit Group countries.
Area description
UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions is an ICT company that operates on a global level as the main ICT service provider for UniCredit through its Governance Functions, Business/Product and Service Lines. With 19 locations in 8 European countries, UBIS is the provider for all technological and organisational solutions.
The selected candidate could take part in the IT projects related to Data & Analytics (Big Data Solutions) in Italy, where the candidate will ensure the global ICT services supply aimed at managing the data life cycle related analytics, and to the usage of 'Big Data' and 'Cognitive Computing' solutions for the customers and for UBIS Business Lines/Service Lines.
What we expect from you
Analytical skills
Availability to spend at least 3 months abroad
Efficiently communicate verbally and writing
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Good knowledge of MS Office suite
High accademic performance
Problem solving
Knowledge of database management, queries and related tools (e.g. Excel, Access, SAS, SQL, Oracle, MatLab, VBA)
Programming languages, particularly: JAVA, SQL, Apache Spark, Scala, C / C++, Unix, Linux, Hadoop, Python
Degree in Statistics, Computer Science or Mathematics
