Area description

Group Administrative & Analytics Office is part of of COO Area and support the Company transformation by enhancing the role and effectiveness of data management and reporting activities for tax, accounting, regulatory and managerial purposes

Function description

·  'Group Data Office', under responsibility of Chief Data Officer, according to perimeters and areas of expertise, is responsible for:
·  ensuring the effectiveness of the Data Management through the establishment and continuous update of standards, policies and processes as defined in the Data & Information Governance model,  which refer to the process of the data in its life cycle including Data Quality;
·  ensuring an environment of data management (enterprise data hub) able to support business decisions e analytical reporting also promoting new generation technologies (e.g . Big Data, business intelligence & predictive analytics, ecc);
·  as data expert, support  different company functions like Commercial Banking, Risk Management, CFO to identify and developing new opportunities/business model as well as for reporting purpose;
·  defining, developing and implementing strategies and methods of management and usage of data, in line with business strategies and risk management, including analysis and/or “what if” scenarios;

Job description

Attending Bank Data Driven projects by helping Businesses and Competence Lines of UniCredit to explore new sources of business or cost efficiencies opportunities.

Implementing high quality Analytical Systems by applying advanced statistical and machine learning algorithms (i.e. Neural Networks, Support Vector Machine, Random Forest, …) while managing and analyzing multiple sources and datasets of information. Together also with UniCredit Advanced Analytics, working in team with data quality experts and data preparatory engineers as propaedeutic steps for analysis and model implementation.
