Area description

Compliance is the function responsible for assisting the Group and its management and employees in the management of compliance risk, which can be defined as the risk of any criminal or administrative, financial losses or damage to reputation, consequence of non-compliance with mandatory rules regarding financial and banking regulations, codes of conduct and standards of 'good practice'.

Function description

The unit supports the Group Compliance Officer in defining and implementing the CL strategy, managing and monitoring CL budget processes, coordinating interventions and communications with company Top Management and Control Bodies and Committees, in monitoring project activities and in managing the internal communication and with institutional counterparties. It is is also responsible for defining the reporting of CL aimed at monitoring local plans in order to activate the appropriate corrective and escalation actions, where necessary. The unit, whose Responsible is Group Coordinator, is responsible for supporting the Group Compliance Officer in developing and maintaining a strong “compliance risk culture” and in preparing, implementing and monitoring the overall strategy, specific initiatives and Group's Education Plan; it also performs a steering and coordinating function for education, on the Compliance functions of the Group's LEs, identifying and defining the priorities, guidelines and reporting standards based on a risk based logic, monitoring their implementation and activating the escalation process when necessary.

Job description

The main task is supporting the Senior Compliance Education Officer with monitoring the training delivery of the Group Education program as well as the functionality of the Group's learning management systems.

Main activities:

· Reviewing and providing the Group feedback on the Local LE's Annual training plan submissions and regular training plan updates (in line with the Group reporting schedule); troubleshooting and monitoring and escalating the status of the mandatory training program in terms of roll-outs and training completions
· Provide an additional point of contact between external suppliers of Compliance e-learning services and all other internal/external parties to highlight, and resolve where possible, any issues impeding the accurate and timely delivery of the mandatory Group Compliance training program
· Manage, organize and document key meetings with the Group's oversight owners in relation to the delivery of the Group Compliance Education strategy
· Organize and document the Group Compliance Education Committee
· Monitor and escalate discrepancies and issues relating to Compliance education delivery and performance statistics
· Support the QAR (Quality Assurance Review) activities.
