Area description

Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) is a cross-country division of our Group which services the financial needs of small-medium enterprises, large corporates, multinationals, financial institutions, investors and commercial banking customers through corporate and transaction banking as well as structured finance, capital markets and investment products.
CIB provides access to markets in Western, Eastern and Central Europe and accompanies customers internationally.

Function description

Aim of the internship is to provide a general understanding of trade finance business dynamics from a sales angle.  The intern will be asked to support the Department (FI Cash and Trade Sales) through various tasks, including preparation of statistical data coherent with the program scope, and will be offered the opportunity to become familiar with mechanisms behind the whole trade finance and cash value chain, end-to-end, involving both foreign banks (the importers’ banks) and Italian corporate clients (exporters).

Students in Business Administration, Economics or Statistics looking for an internship required by their university, or students attending a Master program with the following skills:

·  analytical skills and proactive approach;
·  curious and willing to learn and exploit new opportunities;
·  good communication skills and team attitude, ability to rapidly integrate into an international organization;
·  strong team spirit, creative and innovative thinking, proactive and result-oriented.
·  experienced user of Microsoft Office;
·  Fluent English
