Ubisoft Bordeaux

Opened in September 2017, Ubisoft Bordeaux is a French AAA Studio responsible for games such as Ghost Recon, Just Dance, Beyond Good & Evil, Steep and the Rabbids. Ubisoft Bordeaux already has more than 200 employees and works with the studios of Annecy, Montpellier and Paris.

Are you dreaming of taking part in this new challenge? We are currently looking for a Game Designer Intern (M/F) to join our Team. Discover the missions below and join our AAA teams!

As a Game Designer Intern, you will add content to the game, create and improve game features. Providing game content that is fun is your highest priority. To achieve this goal, you will be working closely with the rest of the Design Team, the art department, programmers and colleagues from multiple disciplines all around the world.

·  Work as part of the Design team to design, to develop and balance robust gameplay mechanics with high-quality gaming experiences tailored to the specificities of our players
·  Work within the game engine tools to add content to the game
·  Takes part in prototyping and implementing the designs in the game while defining the quality metrics to assess their quality
·  Focusing on the player experience as the ultimate metric for the quality of any feature and content

·  You are available for a 6 months internship period. Any degree in game design is appreciated
·  Solid theoretical and practical Game Design knowledge
·  You are passionate about video games and have a good video game culture
·  You have a successful first professional experience and/or internship in video games
·  Intense creativity, a passion to innovate, and the drive to go beyond what is directly asked of you
·  Your level of English allows you to evolve in an international team: good oral and written communication in English is required.
·  You have logical sense, you are creative, analytical, autonomous and rigorous
