Job Description

Within the Exploration-Production (EP) business, the Development and Support to Operations (DSO) division assists subsidiaries in the production of the EP resources, at the earliest opportunity and in a cost-effective way. DSO activities include maintenance and control systems.

As a maintenance mechanical lead, you would be based onshorewithin the Maintenance Department of an affiliate (resident base). You would have frequent offshore visits and visits to contractors.

As a maintenance mechanical lead, your main activities are:

·  Manage a team between 5 and 10 persons for mechanical and rotating equipment activities,
·  Define the types of maintenance to be carried out on equipment (predictive, preventive, systematic or conditional, corrective, etc.), establish the operating and maintenance procedures to be applied, updates maintenance routines
·  Propose and justify recommendations for the improvement of equipment availability, efficiency or maintainability
·  Ensure proper planning, scheduling, and execution of heavy maintenance operations taking into account production or other constraints,
·  Ensure the quality of operation by organising audits and review. Also, design, follow-up and optimize maintenance concepts in close cooperation with the maintenance contractor,
·  Develop scope of work and specific maintenance contracts
·  Analyse indicators provided by the CMMS, stock management and intervention reports
·  Prepare scopes of work for approved work programs
·  Prepare calls for bid and issues these to contractors invited to tender for work to be carried out,
·  Ensure that the preventive maintenance operations scheduled on facilities are  executed

Candidate profile

Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or  A-levels + 3 years study in discipline or BTS (French) or equivalent Level II
10/15 years' experience in the field of production on oil and gas production installations
A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations – Pumps, turbines, compressors, cranes, hydraulic systems, manual valves…Languages - English fluent, French fluent
