Job Description

An exciting opportunity to see the world as part of Total Exploration and Production (E&P) team has arisen for engineers with 0/3 years of experience. Our E&P team is active in 42 countries across the globe and current opportunities offer attractive, long-term contracts in various international locations on a resident or rotational basis.

Asadrilling and completion engineer, you will be assigned the following activities:

·  Carry out drilling, completion and workover engineering studies (design the well architecture, prepare well completion & subsea & well intervention program….)
·  Support ongoing drilling, completion and workover projects in the subsidiaries
·  Prepare technical documents, and participate in meetings/presentations with authorities and partners
·  Follow up project planning and ensure technical procedures and referential are followed
·  Be part of the daily operations follow up (cost, performance ..) and propose improvements
·  Participate in goods and services calls for tenders, writing technical specifications and evaluating technical proposals
·  Prepare specific pilot engineering studies in early phases of projects
·  Contribute to improving skills and know-how
·  Participate in R&D projects  
A special 6-year career path is set up in three periods of approximately 2 years each:

·   An on-site rotation period on a Drilling and Completion Assistant Supervisor or Drilling and Completion Supervisor (night company man)  position or an embedded engineering position to get used to material and operations
·   A headquarters period, as a junior engineer, in order to get to know our technical procedures and standards, and to understand how our métier organization works
·  An expatriation period as a junior engineer, in order to take part in the subsidiary drilling operations

Candidate profile

Engineering school/MSc, with possibly a petroleum engineering degree
A first operational experience (oil industry, public works, shipping...) will be considered.
Fluent English, possibly French.
