Job summary:
We have an opening for a Technical Engineer III to join our Infrastructure & Operations – Application Hosting Services (AHS) team.  Pre-Release Design and Engineering, New installation and deployment support of Global Warehouse Management, eComm Order Management System, Oracle Retail and Merchandise are occurring across our rapidly growing North American, European and Canadian divisions.

You will work within an agile release train (ART) based on the Scalable Agile Framework (SAFe).  Your responsibilities will include leading and performing DevOps activities to: design, develop, deploy and support the DevOps tools that enable the Product ART’s Continuous Delivery Pipeline.  The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills with the TJX enterprise tools and a track record of success collaborating across a large IT enterprise.

Job description:

·  Maintain broad knowledge in the area of DevOps tools and capabilities
·  Demonstrate a broad understanding of the software development lifecycle within both the SAFe Agile and Waterfall methodologies
·  As a member of the System Team, Develop strong, meaningful relationships throughout the Product ARTs and TJX IT shared serves
·  Provide technical leadership for the design and implementation of all enterprise DevOps tools and capabilities in use by TJX
·  Prepare production readiness documentation, using Confluence, for implementations of medium to high level of complexity
·  Perform hands on configuration, development and implementation work as needed
·  Adhere to all business operational controls such as: Sarbanes Oxley, PCI policies, security policies, supportability standards, etc.
·  Demonstrated effectiveness working both independently and within cross functional project teams that span multiple time-zones
·  Experience with Oracle Retail (MOM) and POS (Xstore) implementations
·  Perform health checks and proactive monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager/Grid Control and UNIX shell scripts
·  Install & Configure Application techstack High Availability Architecture on EXADATA platform 
·  Create and manage Disaster Recovery environment for business continuity
·  Application of Security patches released from time to time and Interface with Oracle Support for technical issue resolution
·  Demonstrated knowledge of performance analysis and tuning of application systems, specifically, Oracle RDBMS, EBS, Oracle Retail and POS (Xstore)
·  Demonstrated techniques in troubleshooting issues to resolution, specifically with Oracle RDBMS, EBS, Oracle Retail (Xstore) 

 
Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's Degree in technology or information systems or equivalent work experience.
·  5+ years of IT experience
·  3 or more years of ORACLE Xstore or Oracle Retail (MOM) Suite experience
·  Expert understanding of Application Techstack & ORACLE RDBMS  
·  Expert understanding in Agile Framework (SAFe)
·  Experience using JIRA and Confluence
·  Prefer knowledge of DevOps tools specifically, Ansible Playbooks, GIT, XL Release, XL Deploy and Jenkins)
·  Prefer development experience with: Ansible, Azure, Groovy, Maven, Splunk, and AppD
