Description

The Project Engineer is responsible to assure that technical scopes are quoted and executed in a way that is aligned with the business objectives and run according to project objectives.

· 
Provides technical support to sales team.

· 
Supports Project quotations by performing Customer specifications review and associated clarifications and define engineering plan and associated budgets.

· 
Provides critical inputs to project manager to prepare Project Execution Plan.

· 
Manages internal and external technical interfaces.

· 
Monitors engineering budget (hours) & planning.

· 
Responsible on the technical portion for the change orders.

· 
Provides technical inputs to the Project Manager/Project Engineering Manager.

· 
Prepares and review master engineering documentation (system data sheet, interface data sheet, Master equipment list, Master document register, key layouts, etc).

· 
Coordinates engineering tasks with application engineering.

· 
Conducts system design reviews, and attend product design reviews as required to ensure customer/industry requirements are being satisfied.

· 
Provides support to operations (such as purchasing, quality, manufacturing, etc.) to facilitate project execution.

· 
Generates system procedures and provides assistance during the test phase.

· 
Maintains good communication with PMO & Operations team, Line manager and Manager of Projects.

· 
Ensures proper technical handover is made from Project to Aftermarket (Customer Support / Life of Field).

·  Maintains project files in an auditable condition.
·  Provides competent input to risk assessments related to equipment.
·  Contributes to continuous improvements of processes.


Requirements

· 
Possess a Degree or Masters in Engineering.

· 
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

· 
Added advantage with prior experience as a Senior Design Engineer with TechnipFMC equipment or similar competitor equipment.

· 
Possess strong interpersonal, negotiating, writing and presentation skills to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.

· 
Independent and takes initiative.

· 
Experience in Engineering tools applications (TCE, NX, Inventor, etc.), and basic SAP applications (e.g. time management).

· 
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and applicable resource planning tool (e.g. MS Project).
