Onshore Project Engineer - Energean Karish Project - Contract Position

This position will be based onsite in Israel. In addition, there may be visits to the TechnipFMC offices in Rome and Aberdeen to attend design and construction interface meetings plus subcontractor engagement/follow-up at their manufacturing facilities etc.

Job description

The Project Engineer will provide Project Engineering support and interface management between company and the Client (Energean Israel Project Delivery Team) and compliance with Israeli engineering design and regulatory requirement for the Construction of the DOR Onshore facility in a safe and efficient manner and to the satisfaction of the company and client. This will include interfacing with and site supervision of subcontractors involved in the execution of the Onshore scope. The Onshore scope consists of a Coastal Valve Station (CVS), Onshore pipeline including horizontal directional drilling (HDD) under an existing railway line and freeway/motorway which then connects to a valve/metering station that includes a pressure reduction monitoring function.

You are meant for this job if you have:

·  HNC equivalent or above in Engineering or Science based discipline.
·  Previous package management experience i.e. Construction / Package Manager or relevant business experience.
·  Willingness to accept responsibility when delegated.
·  Ability to work well within a team
·  Good communication skills and workload management skills.
·  Ability to manage co-ordinate internal and external third party interfaces

High degree of competence in following areas:

·  Procurement (specific to subsea industry, subcontracts and purchase order).
·  Cost Reporting and Planning.
·  Business Awareness.
·  Interpersonal skills, including but not limited to;
·  Presentation skills / Communications (Internal and External)
·  Negotiation
·  Organizational Skills / Time Management
·  Personnel Management
·  Manage interfaces across Project scope.
·  Pipelines technical knowledge including welding, NDT, coating and construction / installation activities.
·  Onshore tunnelling, near shore diving, trenching & backfill experience.
·  Computer literacy; preferably Microsoft Office, ideally excel and word.
·  Experience and competent at personnel performance management.
·  Capability to manage change.
·  Professional delivery.
·  Results focussed.
·  Proactive / committed approach.
·  Good team player.
·  Adhere to QHSE rules on Site.

·  Degree and Professional membership of recognised institute.
·  Subsea Engineering and Near Shore / Onshore Construction experience.
