Job Description

We are looking for a Training Manager for Gipharma based in Saluggia (VC), Italy.

Acts as Learning Lead and Strategic Partner to drive achievement of learning expectations including regulatory compliance aspects and site T&L Strategy, and to ensure implementation and delivery of effective learning solutions leading to capability enhancement across the Site.

Major Accountabilities:
• Lead Site T&L governance, ensuring effective communication with leadership regarding pro-gress, achievements, gaps, new learning needs, and recommendations to mitigate risks and ensure learning impact. Provide regular reports on T&L KPIs.
• Define and implement the Site T&L strategy, in line with NTO T&L strategy and priorities and Novartis Values and Behaviors, to ensure continuing development of organizational and individual capabilities
• Drive execution of training across the Site, in line with the T&L Strategy Plan and Site annual training plan.
• Represent the Site within NTO T&L, ensuring effective communication of needs and areas of potential harmonization and synergy to the T&L Council and implementation of standards and requirements in the Site.
• Provide effective leadership of the Site T&L team, to ensure regulatory and legal compliance in T&L as well as effective capability building for Site. Ensure continuous professional devel-opment of Site T&L associates.
• Ensure effective local implementation of global learning programs and initiatives.
• Lead and manage role and capability-based cross functional curricula and training plans for Site associates across all capability areas.
• Ensure regulatory compliance expectations are met at all times.
• Lead and guide the on-boarding of new hires, ensuring fast and effective integration.
• Evaluate effectiveness and impact of learning programs, explore gaps and improvement op-portunities, and define appropriate solutions, both locally for Site programs and in partnership with NTO T&L for global programs.
• Maintain and support global standards for excellence in learning.
• Lead trainer qualification/coaching programs.

Minimum requirements

Education:
- Masters degree/PhD in Life Sciences, Behavioural or Educational Sciences.

Languages:
- Fluent English (oral and written) and local language (oral and written).
- Other languages an advantage.

Experiences:
- 8-10 years in pharmaceutical production, supply and/or quality management.
- Minimum 3 years in training/learning.
- Minimum 3 years working in a GxP environment.
