REPORTING TO Communications & Publicity Manager

LOCATION   Shanghai

JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective and efficient communication strategies and action plans for Cartier China E-Commerce-specific campaigns (particularly Cartier Tmall boutique) across all Cartier categories Watchmaking, Jewelry & Accessories

MAIN PURPOSE
Working closely with Cartier China Ecommerce team and the Brand Content team to implement Ecommerce-specific communications strategy by managing the placement, negotiation and execution of these campaigns.

To define, optimize and manage each project budget across all communications touchpoints, including paid media, ePR, local content production & adaption.

Work closely with the HQ Communications & PR team, media agency, PR agency and/or social agency on strategy development, validation, and execution.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Key responsibility 1 – Develop and manage Ecommerce-specific campaigns

- To develop and manage integrated campaigns for Cartier China ecommerce campaigns (particularly Tmall), including but not limited to digital and ePR,

- Liaise and work closely with China Ecommerce team on needs and Brand Content team to ensure consistence outputs of excellence in line with the project directions.

- Liaise and validate all media plan, actions plans and creative layouts with HQ Communications team as well as media, PR/ePR & creative/digital agencies.

- Ensure quality and premium outputs in all campaign as per Cartier’s guidelines to maintain and enhance Cartier as the luxury reference

- Responsible for overseeing campaign performance, results & KPIs (media metrics)

 

·  Key responsibility 2 – Understanding of China Ecommerce environment

- To build a strong understanding of the local Ecommerce environment – challenges, competitions, consumers understanding, China Ecommerce-specific marketing mechanics etc

- To be the key person to share constantly the understanding of local Ecommerce environment and learnings with the local and HQ teams

 

·  Key responsibility 3 – Analytics and performance management

- Lead and support cross teams in gaining  more insights through the Ebusiness campaigns data analysis and/or industry news & market ntelligence

- Responsible for finding new digital touchpoints and/or territories to keep Cartier China as a reference in luxury category

 

·  Key responsibility 4 – HQ, local cross teams, various agencies management

- Work closely with all parties (Ecommerce team, Communications & Brand content team, Marketing team) for alignments of campaigns, including activations, products featured, phasing etc

- Manage agency briefings, media selection, annual/campaigns KPI, work flow, third-party tracking and maintain a constructive relationship

·  Experience : > 5 years’ Experience in Ecommerce and/or Performance-based roles
·  Chinese & English fluent, (French is a +)
·  Internal contacts:

- Strong functional line of reporting with Communications & Publicity Manager
- Work closely with Communications & Content Team, product marketing, CRM & E-Commerce teams
