Training, Change and Communications Lead – HR Technology/People Systems

Purpose of role
This role will be pivotal to supporting people systems implementation and upgrade projects focusing on the required business change, technical training and communications to ensure that our systems are implemented professionally and that we maximise our investments through adoption of our platforms and subsequent engagement with colleagues.
The role will work closely with the Project Manager for People Systems implementations to new and existing countries and the People Systems Operations Manager at Primark, as well as engaging with all end user communities internationally. We require an experienced candidate with strong technical training experience and a passion for knowledge sharing and talent development to champion best practices, training management and delivery in a fast changing, technical environment.

Location            
Dublin, however travel will be required as part of this role

Key Responsibilities
·  Work with business and technical teams to:
·  Develop system training and communications strategies for multiple HR technology deployments internationally. 
·  Develop new engaging mediums for delivering systems training and user communications that drive adoption.
·  Ensure key training documentation and system learning content is developed, updated and added to Primark DLP (Digital Learning Platform)
·  Create a schedule and manage regular updates to BAU People Systems documentation e.g. annual updates.
·  Be an agent and advocate of change, championing the use of new and improved HR technologies within the Primark store and head office network.
·  To develop a high quality, reusable suite of People Systems training documentation (include eLearning) for the following:
·  New markets training and communication strategy and plan.
·  Training documentation (in English and local language) for Brassring (recruitment system), T&A systems and Workday for new project implementations.
·  Deliver the training and communications plan and schedule for New Markets projects in line with project timelines.
·  Maintain a library of eLearning / digital content for key volume processes for all systems accessible at any time by P&C colleagues via the Digital Learning Platform.   
·  Develop handover documentation for T&A and Workday launches in new markets that will equip the People Systems operations team to take on a new country post project implementations.
·  Work as part of a project team to support implementation and post-production phases of project.
·  Work with colleagues and functional analysts through the systems implementation and upgrade process to fully understand business and system requirements and functionality.
·  Organise and coordinate training sessions. Deliver engaging comprehensive training.
·  Schedule and execute communications plans across projects. Develop project communication materials (in English and local language) for the People Systems Projects
·  Vendor management to produce training and communications materials and to coordinate their language translations where applicable.
·  Create a reusable approach to training and communication asset production and delivery.
·  Support Operations team with developing training content for People Systems applications for existing Primark countries.  
Essential knowledge, skills and experience
·  Experience with training users on how to use cloud-based software applications – both classroom and virtual approaches.
·  The ideal candidate would hold a relevant training qualification.
·  Experience working with People (HR) Systems to enable the delivery of technical training materials and content to users.
·  Experience in developing eLearning / digital training content to consumer grade standards
·  Excellent communication skills and ability to present in an engaging manner.
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·  Highly organised and self-motivated.
·  Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
·  Great team working skills and proven experience of working with teams (Intact and virtual).
·  Flexibility for travel for a few days when needed.
·  Experience working with Vendor management and dealing with multi-lingual stakeholders.
·  Have a proven track record in demonstrating a systematic and customer focused approach to training design and delivery.
·  Have strong attention to detail
·  Be a good communicator, comfortable interacting with people at various levels across business and IT functions.
·  Be flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude to change  
Other desirable knowledge, skills and experience
·  Currently operate as a Trainer with a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in a business or technical role
·  Experience of engaging in projects and with stakeholders across multiple geographies and cultures (primarily Europe and the US)
·  Experience of change management in the technology project domain in the Retail industry or large enterprise organisations
·  Experience with HR technology systems and services
·  Ability to speak more than 1 European language would be beneficial.

·  Be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal/communication skills, while demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence and possess the ability to push back with professionalism. Proven ability in developing effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
·  Operates with a high level of integrity, diplomacy, tact and professionalism.
·  Effective and persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to all areas of the business.
·  Highly organised, detail-oriented, possessing the ability to effectively prioritise projects and deliverables whilst meeting deadlines set by management.
