Job Description

Philips Saeco is a leading company in the research, development, production and marketing of Espresso coffee household machines worldwide.

We are looking for Engineer I&D Mechanical Full Automatics in Gaggio Montano (BO) in its main innovation center

Your challenges

·  Carries out, independently and according to own judgement, targeted development assignments, the broad outlines of which have already been indicated.
·  Develops parts of a new product according to technical specifications on basis of familiar technologies.
·  Develops materials and techniques.
·  Prepares and manages design releases.

Your Responsibilities

·  Responsible for the design, realization and test of a system, subsystem and component; understands and communicates consequences of the design on the architecture.
·  Develops the work with focus on consumer needs and technological competitiveness, and keeps this outside-in approach in mind for designs he creates.
·  Develops on the basis of design specifications in accordance with the functional specifications and tests, analyses and verifies their performance.
·  Finalizes the design specifications, schematics, drawings and writes initial test scenarios' for the developed modules or components.
·  Draws up personal schedule and reports on progress in a structured and methodical way and is responsible for keeping the costs of the activities in line with the calculated budget
·  Is responsible for delivering input in the planning process to the project leader.
·  Ensures that there is proper documentation for the developed mechanics\\hydraulics.
·  Combines existing and/or purchased modules into components, which can be integrated into the subsystem

Your team

·  Team member of Mechanical group in GM, performs routine work under general direction receiving detailed instructions on new work assignments.
·  There are some international contacts. Involves critical internal and external groups in your work.

Your profile

·  Multi-year experience in mechanical development (at least 3 years if you have a master degree – or at least 10 years if you are not graduated)
·  Knowledge on UG NX3 3D modeling software and Team Center drawing management system
·  Knowledge on SAP (BOM management, change management)
·  English level: Intermediate\\Upper intermediate
·  Teamwork attitude
·  FMEA process knowledge (and practical application)
·  HBSRA (hazard based safety risk analysis) process knowledge (development and management)
·  Six sigma methodology knowledge
