about the role

- owning the troubleshooting till resolution for the Satellite related customer faults & France Telecom teleport equipment.
- troubleshoot satellite equipment for fixed, mobile and maritime solutions.
- troubleshoot satellite equipment for manufacturers: Comtech, iDirect, Skywan, Viasat, Thrane & Thrane, mitech, Orbit, Seatel, C2Sat, Cisco, Avantech, Codan and other manufacturers (depending on the proposed satellite solution to the customers).
- troubleshoot for technologies: D-TDMA, DVBS2, PCMA, BGAN, Inmarsat M4, SCPC and other related technologies.
- guide the technician on site to resolve the issue, this is using the technical background from on-site trainings and telecomm knowledge.
- remotely manage the customer's equipment for customers having such solutions (using out of band access through other satellite solutions).
- being a single point of connection between the CS&O and the IBNF Satellite factory teams (project managers, engineering, implementation and delivery, teleports, space segment management, satellite service management center, ...).
- responsible of providing a clear and precise reason for every outage to help the customer service managers give a clear Root Cause Analysis to their customers.
- provide TPM teams with feedback on 3rd party dispatches to help the satellite factory assess their performance.
- initiate the RMA (Return Merchandize Authorization) for used faulty parts, providing the exact test procedures which proved the fault for the repair reports to manufacturer.

- CLARIFY for international customers
- OCEANE for French customers.

about you

- bachelor degree in telecommunications.
- good performer under pressure.
- owns perfect multi-tasking capabilities.
- fast learner, as satellite technologies rapidly evolve.
- good knowledge of IP networks, CCNA certification is preferable.
- helpful & ethical attitude.
- good communication skills with team mates, other functions, 3rd parties & customers

- Field experienced in telecommunications.
