Job description
about the role
Responsible for commercial & deal-shaping input into pre-quote narrowing discussions
Responsible for validation & impact assessment of customer billing requirements
Responsible for accurate and timely completion of assigned IS Quotes
Source and evaluate costs from external and internal suppliers based on defined requirements from IS Quote (hardware, services and deployment - including delivery & logistics)
Responsible for ensuring that margin for standard pricing is compliance with the SoA (standard sell prices are those obtained from tools or external suppliers with approved levels of margin) and entering these into IS Quote.
Responsible for validating ERS Supplier capabilities are accurate & in place at time of quote request and requesting additions/updates if missing (for ERS & Service products)
Responsible for completing all relevant procurement documents accurately (ERS quotes and for Supplier/Vendor BOMs)
Responsible to co-ordinate activities for IS quotations with other TDT, IS COE’s, Solutions Consultants or BU teams where multi-service quotations are required from multiple regional sales desks/ IS COE’s
Ensure that any associated SLA is viable and approved in accordance with SLA processes
Responsible for the accurate and timely completion for the technical validation of the GOLD order (when not automatically processed by IS Quote)
Responsible for the accurate and timely resolution of technical rejects in GOLD
Participate as an active member of the customer account team
Ensure that all KPI’s, SLO’s and quality objectives are met or exceeded
Maintain a basic level of technical knowledge of all Orange Business Services IS products, services and solution sets.
Maintain an excellent level of knowledge for deal-shaping, billing, shipping, vendor management and taxation for all IS services
Maintain an excellent level of knowledge of Compliance rules regionally & globally for all IS solutions
Maintain a high degree of knowledge for all relevant Orange Business Services processes and tools
about you
Excellent Excel level. Knowledge of Outlook, MS Word
Good telephone manner, excellent customer service focus
Good understanding of key financial terms - margins/discounts etc.
Fluent in both spoken and written English,
Second language - Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
Good knowledge of the Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI model) & Network Elements
Good knowledge of ITIL and Agile principles & quality management
Understanding of Cisco product and services configuration preferred (Cisco certification desirable)
Ability to work accurately, even under pressure, to meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, and a team player
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proactive. Able to identify and resolve problems that could potentially jeopardize the service due date and service quality
Good knowledge of the Orange Products, Services & Solutions – for champions TDT
additional information
Higher education certification
Knowledge of IT & LAN / WAN infrastructures & terminology (OSI model)
ITIL or equivalent
Specific skills & certifications in Cisco, Riverbed or other network technology provider is desirable
Experience in an Integration Services environment with large multinational customers is preferable
Experience in network infrastructure and have some sort of functional knowledge of Cisco and/or other industry leader in network products is preferable
Working in a large multi-national with remote teams and global processes is beneficial
