RESPONSIBILITIES

OPERATIONS

 Compute and record totals of transactions

 Assist with counting cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that float amounts are correct and all registers contain adequate change

 Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers

 Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas

CUSTOMER SERVICE

 Provide the highest level of customer service, by greeting each customer in a warm and friendly manner

 Respond to customer questions and concerns quickly and effectively as well as ensuring customer satisfaction

 Provide customers with information on procedures or store policies
