Scientist for Cell Based Assay Lab

Your role

The Cell Based Assay Lab is responsible for developing and validating cell-based assay for drug potency quantification and pharmaceutical process support of INDs and Marketed products.

Cell Based Assay Scientist role and responsibilities will envisage the strategy definition for new bionalaytical  assays development (study of the drug MoA, cell line selection and generation, experimental protocol set-up and optimization, selection of the immuno-assay for response quantification) and validation, within GMP compliance and with a structured statistical approach. Beside of that, the resource will perform the experimental activities during method development, validation and testing.

He/she will manage own projects, including activity planning.

The resource will be challenged to be the driver for establishing innovative analytical cell-based solutions and new technologies to be applied. According to the seniority, he/she will support the laboratory head in respecting the delivery of multiple tasks and increase the quality and scientific standards of the Unit.

Finally, the employee will participate in relevant meetings for the dedicated tasks, managing the communication at all level of organization (peers and superiors), with both internal and external interfaces.

 

Who you are:

•Degree/PhD in biological sciences
•At least 3 years’ experience in the bioanalytical field (development)
•Strong background in cell biochemistry. Cell Lines development is a plus.
•Experience in working in GMP/regulated environment
•Fluent in English and in Italian
•High predisposition for trouble shooting
•High availability and willingness to work in teams in full autonomy
•Willingness to innovate and to “thinking out of the box”
•Process Development analytical support is very welcome
•Collaborative and driven to results
•Previous experience with Health Authorities interactions is a plus
