Quality Program Manager

Your role: 

As Quality Program Manager, you will be responsible for Quality (QA, QC, and Validation) leadership to strategic projects supporting the Lenexa, KS, Cell Culture Media site.  Project initiatives are linked with the site's 3-year strategic plan, most notably Quality Improvement Projects, improving customer experience, and supporting execution of the site master plan. Essential job functions include: 

  

· 
Lead strategic projects, or function as independent, decision-making Quality representative on cross functional projects and/or multi-site projects (assigned based on business, customer or Quality Systems need) 

· 
Manage project teams to execute projects effectively and efficiently, defining scope, budget and schedule for Quality projects 

· 
Identify project risks and recommend appropriate solutions 

· 
Track, monitor and control project expenses, performing frequent assessments and providing solutions as needed 

· 
Identify and manage relationship with project stakeholders, providing regular updates 

· 
Ensure project deliverables meet applicable Quality standards and align with Quality Systems 

· 
Ensure project deliverables meet customer expectations 

Who you are: 

Minimum qualifications: 

· 
Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or business 

· 
5+ years working in Quality at an Operations/Manufacturing site; demonstrated familiarity with basic functions of the various departments (eg: Planning, Quality, Production, Engineering, Validation, etc) 

· 
2+ years experience in a Quality supervisor/manager role, or a Quality role with independent risk-based decision making responsibility 

· 
Excellent project management skills: defining priorities, tasks, plans and resource requirements, critical path identification and management, systemic thinking 

· 
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Team building, motivation and leadership skills in settings of individuals with diverse background. Capability of evaluating, negotiating and communicating resource requirements for diverse tasks 

· 
Demonstrated results-oriented behaviors in a large/complex project situation 

· 
Ability to travel (less than 10% of your time) 

Preferred qualifications: 

· 
Project management certification (eg: PMP/PMI or equivalent) 

· 
MBA or post graduate degree
