Laboratory Technician

Your Role:  

In this dynamic role with MilliporeSigma you will be part of our fast-growing Extractables and Leachables organization.  You will be primarily responsible for performing extractions of filter and single-use devices in support of E&L validation testing.  You will work in a team environment to conduct various analytical methods related to extractables testing.  Testing includes but is not limited to analysis incorporating NVR, TOC, FTIR, and RP-HPLC separation and identification techniques.  This position will require timely handling of data, real-time recording of data on laboratory worksheets and equipment logs, generating summary reports, as well as reviewing colleagues’ data and reports. 

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:  

·  High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years’ experience working in a regulated biotech/biopharmaceutical environment. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

·  Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related Science discipline with experience working in a regulated biotech/biopharmaceutical environment 
·  Clear communicator, both written and verbally
·  Ability to work well in a group or individually as needed
·  Demonstrated organizational skills
·  The ability to follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and protocols
·  The ability to solve problems and develop creative thinking skills related to test results
·  The ability to multitask and handle different responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
·  Curiosity and drive to succeed: individually and as a team; willingness to learn and lead by doing
