Sr Lead Europe – Market Traceability

BACKGROUND

A top priority for Mars, Inc, the Traceability Transformation exists to protect and preserve trust with our consumers, customers and the business in an increasingly complex regulatory environment. We have the imperative by 2021 to: accelerate the deployment & adoption of existing traceability solutions and provide the foundation of new capabilities for an end-to-end traceability program in service of the Five Principles.

THE JOB

This role drives the accelerated deployment of Market Traceability, Inbound Traceability, and Testing & Conformance pillars in the European region as part of the global Traceability Transformation program. The successful candidate will ensure the effective delivery of these capabilities across all segments within the region, and will oversee a large number of simultaneous implementation projects from the IT side. This associate will work closely with other members of the Traceability Transformation program, including the Global Market Traceability Lead, to manage critical stakeholder relationships, provide program oversight, and ensure accelerated deployment in region.

KEY OUTPUTS

·  Provides program leadership in region for the Traceability Transformation.
·  Participates in definition of the overall transformation program and provides expertise and guidance regarding required and recommended IT capabilities to enable the transformation.
·  Defines program level approach in region to deliver IT capabilities.
·  Partners with the Traceability Transformation leaders to define, staff and deliver the market traceability and testing & conformance sub-programs and corresponding projects.
·  Often requires definition of new capabilities and/or ways of working
·  Member of Traceability Transformation leadership team and/or Steering, providing both insights and functional input. Is the point of accountability for all MT/T&C delivery activities in region.
·  Secures DT funding, resourcing and focus. Represents Transformation program within Mars DT and ensures appropriate focus and prioritization.
·  Functional leadership for matrix associates, contractors, 3rd party firms

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

Education & Professional Qualification

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Knowledge/Experience

·  At least 2 years of delivery in a client facing role with accountability for outputs
·  Practical experience with Digital Methods (Agile/Scrum, DevOps, Product Management)
·  Familiarity with ADKAR PROSCI change management methodology.
·  Essential: Action Oriented - and self-starter able to work independently
·  Desired: Strong communication skills - across functions and geographies
