PURPOSE:

·  Support the development and driving of the continuous improvement agenda for factory performance from raw material silo to finished product delivery to warehouse.
·  Promote a Continuous Improvement mind set in the factory teams
·  Identify Do It Best initiatives to reduce manufacturing costs
·  Drive daily data accuracy reporting from operators.
·  Support Engineer in assigned area of responsibility as required

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

CI deployment and Performance Analysis

·  Support Safety, Quality CI and Environment in collaboration with Q&FS and HSE service.
·  Track and Analyze KPI to identify key improvement and increase RJH efficiency and capacity.
·  Report results of these relevant KPI and build analysis recommendations linked to DIB program
New Products and Process Implementation
·  Support in the implementation of new products, new process without any deviation from our standard and within the expected timeframe.
·  Guarantee compliance to MARS standards following each investment or technical modification or procedure.
·  Participate to investment submission to identify and assess benefits
·  Collaborate with R&D and commercial service as a facilitator to implement locally
Supply Excellence
·  Support to co-create with factory area teams MES structure, deploy and train associates to create emulation and consolidate this system.
·  Work on new standards and define SRC in affected perimeter
·  Collaborate with factory area teams to validate any standard definition and to deploy them
Training
·  Be involved in training module definition to develop and sustain associates functional capabilities in particular in process (grinding, extrusion), packaging and flow area (make sure Safety, Q&FS and SIG are all integrated).
System and Tools
·  Daily Management site lean tools (RCLMS, COURBON and other CI tools)
·  Update the KPI dashboard
·  Update of the Learning Curve

NATURE AND SCOPE

Job Content:

SAFETY

·  All PPE must be worn in compliance with the Legal/RC requirements
·  Enforce/Respect the safety rules and the internal policy
·  Stop any equipment / operative works / external company works if safety/environment protection/fire protection rules are broken
·  Support and promote plant safety and health for all associates
·  Guarantee and apply OHSAS 18001 and all related working procedures

ENVIRONMENT
·  Guarantee and apply ISO 14001 (Environment), and all related working procedures
·  Ownership of environmental responsibilities

QUALITY & FOODSAFETY
·  Guarantee and apply ISO 9001, 22000, Mars Standards, and all related working procedures
·  Inform operation leader of quality deviations according to product standards and production procedures
·  Any task as delegated by Manager

HUMAN RESOURCES
·  Training: attend any training program as scheduled by company management and train any designed person in the position

MANAGEMENT & RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Manage CI activities (meetings, minutes, action plans, follow up….)
·  Work with Operations Manager on implementing Lean Manufacturing Tools (5S, Hoshin, Poka-Yoke, Kaizen) to drive continuous improvement
·  Any task delegated by Manager

CLEANLINESS & TIDINESS
·  Do regular Gemba walk to identify and address any deviation from the standard
·  Be a champion and perform 5 S audits

COMMUNICATION & INFORMATION
·  Participate and coach daily operational FMOS meeting
·  Provide any requested documentation to other Departments according to internal rules
·  Update KPI’s as required
·  Collect data and provide statistic on area activities
·  Ensure that statistics are ready as requested for reporting activity
·  Ensure recording data into relevant system according to internal rules

Background Experience & Qualifications

·  Degree or Diploma Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related qualification.
·  0-3 year related industry experience.
·  Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint
