The Retail Operation Manager has the responsibility to support day to day operations, and efficiencies across the Celine Italy and Spain network.
Their role is instrumental in the implementation of brand guidelines and providing solutions and ideas which can create value to the improvement of customer service and retail operations.
The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to role out projects and present to teams.
Responsabilities:
- Identify key improvements and operational efficiencies to support the region in protecting product assets against theft and damage and providing transparent reporting to the Retail Manager on the monthly findings.
- Support the Retail Manager to drive best practice and optimum processes across the Region.
- Responsibility to support the Retail Manager and Store Managers to up skill the Stock Controllers in the Region.
- Identify gaps in the knowledge of store operations across Italy and Spain and work to fill them.
- Support the reduction of stock loss by acting as the first point of contact regarding all stock management/replenishment and related processes.
- Working to support the Retail Manager and working with the Store Managers to drive best practices concerning optimization of stockrooms and operational excellence.
- Support the Store Managers to develop the expertise of their new and existing stock controllers, during their induction and ongoing employment.
- Act as project coordinator for supply chain projects and other brand projects, providing support to the store and HQ during their pilots when in the region.
- Support Store Managers in developing their understanding of key operational processes relating to product flow management and daily store operations.
- Support new Store Managers and teams on RPRO stock and stock organisation and optimisation.
- Supporting the CRM team and Retail Manager in the roll out of actions and ensuring the client data is captured and qualitative, providing solutions and guidance where we fall short.
- Assist in the planning and management of new store openings alongside the Retail Manager.
- Actively working with the Retail Manager reducing costs, reviewing facilities contracts and improving services from our vendors.
- Give guidance to the Store Manager and Stock Controller on the most efficient and commercial way to organise stock, giving consideration to improving fetch times, logical stock room flows, correct storage of stock.
- Ensure 60% of your time is spent in the stores.
Profile:
- More than 5 years relevant experience in Retail in a luxury and fashion environment.
- Bachelor/Master Degree required.
- Skills: strong sense of business, service-oriented, reactivity, dynamism, excellent communication and organization skills, proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships up/down/peers.
- Languages: English and Italian fluent
