JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Being an M&A intern will provide you with a unique view on the company’s external growth plans globally as well as a privileged learning opportunity on how transactions are originated and executed. The position will challenge your technical, financial, presentation and communication skills as well as develop your work ethic to operate in a fast-paced environment.

This is a 6-month paid internship which requires full-time commitment. Hybrid work environment.

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

· 
Financial analysis: Collect and review business and financial information about potential acquisition targets, discussing key findings with other team members;

· 
Presentations: Prepare PowerPoint presentation decks for top management aimed at assessing acquisition opportunities and recurring team updates;

· 
Valuation: Build and maintain financial models to perform valuation analyses and calculate transaction economics;

· 
Collaboration: Interact with other with team members from other company divisions (i.e. product, procurement, marketing, tax, legal, treasury, etc.);

· 
Process support: Join ongoing acquisition / divestiture processes and support the rest of the team throughout all process stages;

· 
Market monitoring: Analyse market developments and trends;

 

NETWORK OF INTERACTION:

  INTERNAL: Daily interactions with M&A team members to support in financial analyses, valuations, presentations, recurring updates, etc.

EXTERNAL: Provide recurring updates to other teams / divisions and support cross-functional team projects when needed (incl. product, procurement, marketing, tax, legal, treasury, etc.)

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE:

· 
Confident with Excel & Powerpoint

· 
Knowledge about accounting, corporate finance, investment banking subjects

· 
Business acumen

· 
Know how to manage multiple tasks and how to prioritize them efficiently

· 
Great performer with an excellent academic path

· 
Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a master’s level degree study

· 
Experience within financial advisory firms or corporate M&A teams

 

LANGUAGES:

· 
Fluent Italian

· 
Fluent English

· 
Other languages such as French are added benefits
