KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Cloud Engineer to join ourTax Transformation and Technology  organization.

Responsibilities:

·  Design enterprise solutions on the Microsoft cloud using modern cloud architectural patterns
·  Provide training and guidance to empower teams and instill a culture of DevSecOps
·  Maintain close awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application for service offerings and products
·  Proactively look for opportunities to automate every aspect of the application and security lifecycle
·  Collaborate with application and security architects to evaluate technologies and tools

Qualifications:

·  A minimum of five years of experience developing with two years of deep technical experience in Azure Cloud Engineering and Operations
·  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
·  Excellent programming and scripting skills in languages such as C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, ARM templates
·  Experience developing applications that use major modern database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Cassandra, MongoDB, and Cosmos; knowledge of relational database theory and practice
·  Strong experience with building medium to large enterprise platforms using modern design patterns including micro-services, and resilient architectures (ex: should be able to detect “bad smells in design” / anti-patterns)
·  Experience designing and scripting entire cloud environments including networks, app services, databases, and firewall rules with strong knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, and application firewalls
