Job description

Role


KPMG's business has consistently seen double digit growth each year over the last 3 years, and due to the growth in high value projects we are seeking to hire a Senior Manager or Manager in Tax who can demonstrate the skills to manage staff and workloads while providing excellent service and quality advice to our clients.

We ideally need you to have the following:



·  Qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation or Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent) or qualified solicitor keen to develop a career in tax desirable;
·  Good technical skills and knowledge of Employment taxes, Expat taxes, Private Client taxes, or Reward taxes;
·  At least 5 years of relevant tax experience;
·  Ability to delegate to, manage and review trainee/senior work on allocated clients;
Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:



·  Assisting clients with PAYE/NIC reviews and HMRC PAYE audits;
·  Advising clients in relation to their PAYE withholding obligations in respect of remuneration, benefits in kind, expenses, share remuneration, termination payments;
·  Advising on residency and taxation issues with regard to employees both coming into and leaving the UK;
·  Liaising with colleagues across the firm to prepare the Employment Taxes section of tax due diligence reports;
·  Supervising and dealing with the annual taxation affairs of a portfolio of private clients including meeting with and corresponding with both the clients and HMRC.
