Sea Logistics Operational Care Team Leader, Documentation

Your Role

For our Genoa Plant, we are hiring a Documentation Sea Logistics Operational Care Team Leader who will be responsible for coordinating transport activities.

Your Responsibilities

·  Creating shipment details in our internal data management system (Carrier/ Vessel, Item description, etc) 
·  Coordinating with customer care, customs brokers, documentation agencies (i.e. cargo waivers etc) and carriers 
·  Creating documentation for consolidation container  (Master / Single)  
·  Reviewing and insure alignment of shipping instructions including to clarify any deviations/conflicts taking countr regulations,  compliance and rate and routing information into consideration 
·  Ensuring profit maximization 
·  Immediately reporting problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to the direct report.
·  Monitoring operational performance of carriers and other vendors and escalate / create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered  - Initiate and resolve any rate discrepancies 
·  Working with Customer Care on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations
·  Supporting the Customer Care team in resolving complaints 
·  Managing an Operational Care, Documentation Team if required 

Your Skills and Experiences

·  3/5 years of experience in the same role
·  2 years of experience in People Management
·  Working background in forwarding/logistics
·  Fluency in English
·  Customer Satisfaction oriented profile
