Job description

Be part of Kuehne + Nagel, a global and market-leading logistics provider strongly positioned at the high-tech end of the logistics industry. You will join our National Human Resource team, playing a vital part in the development of our organisation.

Your Role

As HR Business Partner, you will be our local advisor and partner in the west-coast region, participating in the local management teams on behalf of the HR Director. You will be responsible for general HR activities as well as having operational tasks and national responsibilities. You will support the organisation to meet business goals, and you will work with multiple HR projects as well as daily HR operations.

Your Responsibilities

·  National responsibility for defined areas
·  Support and advise our managers in HR processes such as onboarding, workforce planning, performance management, competency development, career planning, employee engagement and offboarding
·  Act as a change agent in the diagnostic of organisational challenges in Norway and with special focus on the west-coast region
·  Develop and implement HR strategy and policies both from a national level and regional/global
·  Lead and participate in HR related projects 
·  Conduct daily HR operations in line with company policy and national legislation

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Minimum 5 years of broad experience within HR, preferably from a similar role
·  In-depth knowledge of HR processes, labour law and related regulations
·  Service-minded, responsible and structured
·  A proactive and solution-oriented approach towards assigned tasks
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Ability to understand the business
·  Good understanding of digital systems and well-accustomed to using Excel for reporting and analytics
·  Excellent communication skills in English and fluent in Norwegian (written and spoken)
