Role Mission

The candidate will be integrated in Material Innovation Lab (MIL). MIL is a new (launched in 2013) shared service center for Kering brands. The MIL team provides knowledge and technical support on sustainable materials (fabrics, fibers, leatherwear, fur and accessories) to the brands. The scope of work of MIL includes creating an up to date collection of innovative and sustainable materials (the ‘library'), strategic support to integrate sustainable materials into products and technical support to define and identify sustainable materials. The Sustainable Material Intern will work in a team of 4 people.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the team to identify sustainable materials (including sources of sustainable raw materials) as appropriate to brands
• Support the team to help brands with technical expertise and information on sustainable materials
• Support the team to develop communication and project materials around sustainable materials and processes
• Support the team to design and manage projects including ongoing monitoring and evaluation
