Role Mission

The position contemplates a full-time counseling activity related to the protection and defense of all intellectual property rights (IP). The candidate will join Gucci's IP in house team and focus particularly in Trademarks, Designs and Copyrights protection as well as brand enforcement and portfolio matters. Gucci's IP team as a whole provides legal advice and support to all product categories, collections and launches and defend the Brand exclusivity, goodwill and reputation and all IP intangible assets at the global level.

Key Accountabilities


•Assistance in carrying out IP clearances, prior art availability searches and legal researches.
•Support in preparing legal analysis, opinions, memoranda and IP assessments;
•Help to answer legal questions, review products and to protect new collections;
•Assistance to collect evidences, prepare litigations and anti-counterfeiting matters, liaise with outside counsel and review pre-litigations and litigations filings.
•Support in drafting and reviewing different documents, in English and in Italian (e.g. agreements; assignment contracts, letter of consent; releases, C&D letters, oppositions etc.);
•Help in elaborating standard documents and to keep updated our records and files;

Profilo richiesto

Requirements

•Master's Degree in Law. A master in Intellectual property Law will be a plus
•Excellent knowledge of English both spoken and written;
•Others foreign languages and international experience are a must;
•Strong background in Industrial and Intellectual Property Law;
•3-5 years' experience in international law firm and/or Group in house;
•Team work attitude and good communication and interpersonal skills;
•Good experience in clearances, searches and brand enforcement;
•High level of discretion, integrity and ethical standards;
•Able to adapt to a constant changing environment;
•Full commitment in terms of time and effort;
•Flexibility and willingness to meet all of the IP department's needs;
•Able to adapt to a constant changing environment;
•Business oriented and problem solving attitude;
•Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy;
•Proficient in using Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
