The Tailoring & Outerwear Product Development Intern will be responsible for supporting the development process of the product category, ensuring that all activities related to the production cycle are executed effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Product Development Support: Assist in all stages of the product development process for the Tailoring & Outerwear category, including material selection, construction techniques, and sizing specifications.

Coordination Between Teams: Work closely with the Design Team and various internal and external stakeholders (such as suppliers and manufacturers) to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of product specifications.

Fitting Sessions: Participate in collection fittings to ensure that the final product meets the quality, fit, and aesthetic standards required by the brand.

Cost Monitoring: Assist in tracking the costs associated with product development, supporting the negotiation process based on the validated collection plan to ensure profitability.

Documentation and Reporting: Help maintain accurate records of product development stages, including technical specs, materials used, and feedback from fitting sessions, ensuring that all documents are organized and accessible.

Time Management: Assist in managing timelines to ensure that product development milestones are met, and deadlines are adhered to.
Job Requirements

Educational Background: Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Product Development or related fields (or equivalent experience).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
·
Basic understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and tailoring techniques.
·
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, suppliers).
·
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and basic knowledge of product development software is a plus.

Strong interest in fashion and a passion for tailoring and outerwear.
·
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
·
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·
Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to changing priorities.
