Duties & Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Waitrose Product Supply team as a Demand Planner.
In this role, you will be held accountable for the management of centrally produced forecasts to create demand plans for on average 300 lines with a sales value in the region of £150 million per annum.
You will be required to produce accurate forecasts, whilst bearing in mind external factors such as past/future trends, weather, events, promotions and marketing.
At the same time, you will need to optimise and maintain availability levels whilst mitigating against risks of wastage.

Job Requirements
This is a varied and demanding role in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work to deadlines, plan ahead and multi-task.
Demand Planners will need to be organised, adaptable and highly collaborative, as you will build strong relationships with Suppliers, Marketing and Commercial colleagues.
You would need to feel comfortable challenging, influencing and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications
- GCSE (or equivalent) English & Maths (A-C)
- Relevant A-levels or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills eg. Excel
- A strong communicator and influencer with experience of managing relationships with suppliers or customers
Required desirable experience skills and qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent)
- Good organisational skills
- Experience in a Demand Planner/Data Analyst role
