Services offered by DRS CoE :

·  Business Intelligence: Interactive & Self-serviced BI visualizations services, leveraging group standard tooling. The portfolio includes BI dashboard development, Business analytics solutions and SharePoint based development.
·  MI & Reporting: Production, distribution and maintenance of accurate, comprehensive and timely MI, with high level of information clarity and usefulness. The service includes bespoke analysis, quick turnaround ad-hoc support and investigative analytics.
·  End to End Risk Management Meeting Support: Agenda setting, information management, pack preparation (including Enterprise risk reporting, Key MI (KMI)), Ignite template adherence, distribution, and secretariat services.
·  Data Management & Governance: Implement DUSE controls, improving BCBS 239 compliance score, remediating DQ issues across risk types

Global COO to support execution of the Regulatory Compliance Data Strategy and assist in putting data at the forefront of the Regulatory Compliance agenda.

Regulatory Compliance have recently created a Data team within Compliance CDO to execute against the Compliance CDO Data Strategy. This role will be involved in a number of areas to support the execution and includes:

·  Data Quality & Improvement
·  Data Landscape & Data Simplification 
·  Policy & Governance
·  Data Analysis

The data team supports a number of RC Services including Assurance, Risk Strategy, Policy & Governance and specialist services such as Surveillance and Conflicts.

Strategic Data Delivery : Enabling compliant and controlled access to data from strategic sources (through RADAR) and supporting all BI, MI development.

Opportunity:

·  The candidate would be part of DRS - CoE team supporting Compliance MI function, which provides qualitative and quantitative compliance management information (MI) covering all lines of businesses across the world. The MI is aimed at assisting HSBC’s management of compliance risk and at creating transparency towards external parties.  
·  Data Stewardship is another key responsibility which ensures integrity of the data as reported in Dashboards and Reports, through adherence to the group wide Data Quality principles. 
·  Responsible for User Access management process by processing new and change access requests according to the designed process.
·  Periodic review of dashboard accesses by monitoring the accesses and ensuring that the unused licenses are recovered.
·  Perform quality assurance on monthly production to ensure Completeness and Accuracy of metrics within the FC MI Dashboard.
·  Own and manage various Governance processes like BCP, Data VISA and Migration for Compliance MI
·  Key contact for audit and assurance requests and reviews.
·  Responsible for ensuring up to date Glossary and SOPs of reports and dashboards and overseeing periodic reviews of these.
·  Be an individual contributor engaging with senior stakeholders across regions/ LoBs and ensure that their expectations are continuously met, and the team can add value to their day-to-day operations.
·  Implement effective controls and ensure adherence to procedures & other business specific regulations.

What you’ll do:

Impact on the Business 

·  Work as part of a team and ensure all basic governance processes are in place.
·  Responsible for User Access management process by processing new and change access requests according to the designed process.
·  Respond to all queries within the agreed timelines.
·  Periodic review of dashboard accesses by monitoring the accesses and ensuring that the unused licenses are recovered.
·  Perform quality assurance on monthly production to ensure Completeness and Accuracy of metrics within the FC MI Dashboard.
·  Own and manage various Governance processes like BCP, Data VISA and Migration for Compliance MI
·  Key contact for audit and assurance requests and reviews.
·  Responsible for ensuring up to date Glossary and SOPs of reports and dashboards and overseeing periodic reviews of these.

·  Implement effective controls and ensure adherence to procedures & other business specific regulations.
·  Understand, assess, and prioritize requirements and new requests submitted on individual projects, updating JIRA sprints and sprint planning where appropriate.
·  Provide necessary training or training support to end users on the processes/ reports/ tools owned by the team.
·  Where appropriate manage the delivery and ensure adherence to agreed timescales.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

·  A Masters/ Bachelor’s degree preferable in IT/ Computer Science/ Finance or equivalent experience
·  3 – 5 years of proven and progressive experience at a financial institution or comparable environment.
·  6 – 8 years of proven and progressive work in a reporting team, project-oriented environment, including management consulting, project management and/or business analysis experience
·  Proficiency in MS office suite with Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
·  Ability to work and communicate with senior management to understand the pressures, challenges and demands on a given function and create solutions to address those items.

What additional skills will be good to have?

·  Experience in Non-Financial Risk Management within a banking/ financial institution is an advantage.
·  Ability to build business relationships and relate to a wide range of people and collaborate.
·  Ability to conduct research, analyze and provide clear material advice.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Good presentation skills for meetings
·  Excellent influencing and negotiating skills.
·  Ability to organize and manage time and workload independently.
·  Ability to operate in changing environment.
