Entry Software Engineer - Storage Data Protection Software

Location : Bangalore

Product overview:

HPE Recovery Manager Central delivers a simpler, centralized copy data management solution for various industry leading and enterprise applications. It can be used for taking application consistent snapshots and remote snapshots on HPE Storage Arrays, direct backup from HPE storage arrays to HPE StoreOnce and can also move the App. Consistent copy to Cloud. HPE RMC can be managed through different interfaces like REST, CLI and HTML5 based GUI.

Responsibilities:

·  Work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and creative.
·  Apply advanced technical theories and concepts in designing of software.
·  Ability to root cause analysis of system/customer issues.
·  Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.

Qualifications and Skills

·  Must – 2 to 4 years of IT industry experience, with a BE/ME in Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent.
·  Must - Software Development experience in Storage and VMWare Virtualization domain .
·  Must – Experience in designing and developing software based on the requirements.
·  Must – HTML 5, Angular JS and CSS.
·  Must – Rest API using Python .
·  Must – well versed with Agile development practices and familiar with tools like Jira, ALM, Bugzilla etc., for defect management
·  Strong understanding of Storage management, Backup Software, Applications like,  VMware/HyperV virtualization, management eco-system and Storage Clustering.
