We are looking for an intern to join the Aruba High Touch Engineering group where you can work side by side with technical support engineers, project managers, and architects to develop and support Aruba end customers and the service components needed to support Aruba’s top customers.  This assignment is focused on students that are ready to begin their career in the high tech sector.

You will be working on one or more of the following technologies:

·  Networking Platforms: Routers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points
·  Wireless systems and security
·  Languages: Shell Scripting, Perl, Python
·  Operating Systems: Linux and Windows.
·  Network Management: SNMP
·  Cloud and Software networking
·  Automated configuration and infrastructure management
·  Technical writing and customer facing documentation

Education and Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline with a graduation date of December 2020 and beyond.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. At least 6 months experience in:

·  Experience with Python and object-oriented design skills
·  Experience with Application architecture and design patterns
·  Experience with MSSQL, POSTGRES, and databases
·  Knowledge of Flask, WTF Forms and integration with Python is a must
·  Web Development Knowledge – HTML5, CSS3 and JS JQuery and API's.
·  Knowledge and hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..)
·  Should be comfortable in using shell commands extensively.
·  Proficient understanding of code versioning tool such as GitHub, Code Branching and code optimization

Preferred Additional Qualifications :

·  Wireless Network Design & Implementation, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WLAN, Wireless Mesh, RF, Voice over Wireless, Security over Wireless
·  Experience in one or more virtualization technologies including OpenStack, container orchestration like Kubernetes or Apache Mesos, micro-services, serverless or functions
·  Prior experience with any of the cloud platform infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc.
·  Writing application notes, white papers, design documents, reference guides and presentation material.
