Overall responsibilities

The Solution Architect has the responsibility to define the strategy of the architecture of Gucci MIS solutions (in collaboration with the other MIS areas) and to collaborate with Kering IT to define an overall architecture for Kering solutions, mainly on the applications that interact with Gucci MIS solutions.

He/She is responsible to provide directions about standards, industry best practices and architectural constraints to which IT solutions shall comply.

He/She is responsible for defining strategy, standards, policies and approaches required to deliver world class IT solutions.

Specific responsibilities

· Define the overall strategy and the architecture of the Gucci MIS solutions and approve them in terms of alignment between IT and Business, value and risk management in cooperation with all the MIS areas
· Enable a long-lasting and effective alignment between the various functional areas, in terms of architecture/technology/platform strategy and tactics
· Provide directions about standards, industry best practices and architectural constraints to which IT solutions shall comply by:
· Defining and assessing solution options;
· Scoping and governing feasibility assessment;
· Assessing effort, risk, costs and complexity for IT solutions;
· Defining architecture high level blueprints;
· Providing implementation oversight and governance;
· Balancing functional, service quality, systems management and operational requirements;
· Establishing policy and strategy for the selection of systems architecture components;
· Providing architectural leadership.
· Define strategy, standards, policies and approaches required to deliver world class IT solutions
· Plan for new architectures insertion
· Translate business requirements into IT solutions which align with strategy, standards and industry best practice by:
· Identifying and propose solution options
· Defining the detailed analysis in line whit the architecture blueprints
· Implementing the architectures keeping the right balance between functional, service quality, systems management and operational requirements
· Applying the policy and the strategy for the selection of systems architecture components
· Working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the program
· Acting as technical reference for architecture and implementations
· Contribute to new technologies adoption.

Desired Education & Experience

·  A minimum of 3/4 years of experience in a similar role
·  Fluent in Italian
·  Fluent in English
·  Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
·  A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a cross-functional team environment.
·  Ability to negotiate between business and IT
·  Ability to work in a highly matrix environment to deliver and share results
·  Ability to manage multiple activities and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality
·  Ability to balance multiple priorities
·  Deep knowledge of cloud solution and ability to identify pros/cons of these solutions compared to internal ones.
·  Exemplary interpersonal skills and a genuine appreciation of working with diverse audiences.
