Volvo Group Trucks Sales is responsible for sales and marketing of trucks branded Volvo, Renault Trucks, Mack and UD worldwide. Volvo Group Trucks Sales is also responsible for the joint venture relationship between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Limited. Mission:
Support local team to develop extended offer for Renault Trucks and Volvo trucks networks:
- Develop/improve existing local offer portfolio in term of net sales and profitability
° Improve the offer in term of Exhaustivity, Competitivity, Availability, Quality, Visibility, Promotion
° Steer commercial performance review with local suppliers, with ESS region support
- Analyze Italian market (customer needs, suppliers panel, competition), give to ESS extended offer team, all relevant inputs in order to identify need for regional offer (vs local),
- Propose a local offer development roadmap to ESS extended offer team.
- Deliver agreed local offer roadmap (with ESS extended offer/GTO/supplier support)
° Create & present a business case to ESS management team
° Create the local offer 4Ps mix
- Product: Select the most relevant product in the portfolio, source the local supplier, negotiate best commercial conditions;
- Price: build recommended retail price and discount grid
- Promotion: Build with supplier support (and Marketing Department) a set of communication & Promotion tools.
- Place: Propose the most relevant logistic set up, in coordination with GTO and suppliers
° Run Part number creation process and local offer documentation.
° Assure its deployment within VT and RT networks
- Cross fertilization of local best practices with other markets
Skills:
- Business School or University degree in business, engineering with a specialization in Business, or related field
- A business development experience is seen as a strong advantage
- An experience with Italian market would be a plus
- Business fluency in English and Italian mandatory
- Position located in Zingonia (Bergamo), frequent travels into Italian network.
