Role Summary/Purpose
You will be part of a highly motivated Logistics/Warehousing/Planning & Forecasting Team that as a whole manages the supply chain for services. You will use your experience and expertise to manage internal customer orders and be responsible for order fulfillment. You will book transport and ensure the right part is delivered, at the right time, at the right place and at the right price. You will use your transport supplier base and set up any needed PR/PO to carry out your duties.
Essential Responsibilities
· In/Outbound coordination of material deliveries between warehouses and sites
· Organizing transports, set up of needed PR/PO
· Prepare customs documentation and liaise with customs agents/brokers globally
· Participate in cost reduction initiatives for3PL & transportation liaising with Sourcing
· Maintain an appropriate and optimized supplier base for transport
· Monitor/measure and highlight any logistic supplier performance problems/risks and liaise with Sourcing and SQE
· Reporting on monthly transportation costs
· Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts GE stock
· Process customer orders in ERP, execute fulfillment, invoicing and follow up
Qualifications/Requirements
· Relevant experience in a similar position with experience in Transportation industry, logistics, custom clearance and customs related activities
· Inventory & transportation Management
· Understanding of financial processes that are impacted by logistical procedures
· Good understanding of Procurement processes and Supply Chain Management (SCM)
· Fluency in English
· ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle) experience
· Strong problem-solving ability and sense of urgency
· Experienced and highly motivated individual that can bring a positive mindset and can-do attitude to this role
Desired Characteristics
· Experience in the wind industry will be advantageous
