Role Summary/Purpose
The proposed thesis ” Tool development for assessing aeromech analysis of a cyclic symmetric structure in low pressure turbine” will be carried out under the supervision of both an academic tutor (Politecnico of Turin) and also a Avio Aero internal tutor. The role is composed by a first period to be spent under the supervision of the Avio Aero internal tutor in order to learn to use the fundamental tools, and a secondary period dedicated to the thesis research.
Essential Responsibilities
This activity will consist in the development of a tool for assessing the aeromech behavior (linear and nonlinear) of a cyclic structure in a low pressure turbine. Specific test cases will be used to validate the tool.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Mech or Aerospace Eng Student
· Good academic track record
· EU work permit
· Team-work & commitment
· Fluency in English
· Currently enrolled at a university
· Good background in dynamic
