Role Summary/Purpose

You will be responsible for piping design and analysis. The Design group have the responsibility for engineering design activities for piping, jumpers and spool system, specifications and other relevant documentation, in addition to engineering support during fabrication. Designers from our group will provide engineering support during studies, tendering and detail engineering in delivery projects. The responsibility will also include work to define and test the solutions.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Technical responsible for piping engineering and work packages within subsea manifold projects.,

·  Execute and facilitate the design and analysis for assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product requirements,

·  Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project,

·  Technical contact point for suppliers and participate in customer interactions with the project teams,

·  Complete necessary piping design, reports and drawings for study, detail design and fabrication follow up, required for the construction of the piping.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent,

·  Strong experience with design and analyses of piping,

·  Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems,

·  Familiar with rules, regulations and codes within the Oil & Gas industry (ASME, API, DNV),

·  Team work experience
Desired Characteristics

·  Experienced in piping hardware design and development,

·  Have a good understanding of production processes,

·  Strong grasp of materials,

·  Have a basic understanding of Engineering drafting techniques, geometrical dimensioning and tolerances,

·  Highly proactive and results oriented,

·  High level of curiosity and creativity combined with strong analytical and problem solving skills,

·  Ability to work systematically on your own as well as part of a team.
