Role Summary/Purpose

The intern will be part of the electrical engineering team in the “Environmental Control Solutions” (ECS) that supplies advanced systems for the control and the cleaning of the pollutant in flue gas, giving an active contribution to control the environment of our planet. This position is opened for a 6 month internship. The internship will start in January 2017.

Essential Responsibilities

Inside the engineering department the candidate will support the Electrical Lead Engineer in the following activities:

·  Support preparing the technical documentation of the project related to the Electrical Discipline, data sheets, technical specifications for the purchase of machinery and materials, preparation and control of the documents requested to the suppliers, support during the tender activities, manuals and as built documents in the final phase of the project.
·  Support during the technical evaluation of the offers received from the suppliers and technical alignment of the bids.
·  Participating with the teammate's during the negotiation for the purchase of the main machineries and instrumentation in accordance with the contractual specifications
·  Check of the completeness of the engineering documentation required for the issue of the orders to the suppliers including the revision of the documents involved during the negotiations
·  Support during develop of the Single Line Diagrams drawings
·  Transmission of the documents and drawings to the suppliers and subcontractors in accordance with the company procedure, in case of delay the Engineer will push the supplier to ship material &/or services taking care of the critical documents.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Master Degree in Electrical Engineering (Electrical Energy Management preferred)
·  Ability to read electrical drawings.
·  Proficiency in Windows Office
·  Ability to work in international teams.
·  Fluent English and Italian
·  EU Work Permit.

Desired Characteristics

·  Previous experience, even if during school period, in industrial electrical installation field work (electrician).
·  Experience working in 3D models.
·  AutoCAD Skill.
