Role Summary/Purpose

The NPI Focal Point is the program leader for all the Manufacturing activities starting from the cost
estimation phase until the production launch. She/He leads a technical dedicated program team of
Manufacturing Engineer and Logistic to guarantee the achievement of all the Production
Readiness KPIs (Design for Manufacturing, Validation, Process Stability, FTY, Cost and
Deliveries).
She/He will work in the Platform as responsible of all the Program Manufacturing activities.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Supply Chain reference for all the other Departments (Eng, Quality, PM, NPI Industrial
Leader, Purchasing, Laboratory, Configuration) 
·  Cost estimation support to Central
Manufacturing Engineering  
·  Concurrent engineering for Make
parts  
·  Prototype Program Planning (Level 3 – parts
availability)  
·  Prototype configuration vs BOM
alignment Industrialization 
·  Make parts (Router, Process Sheets, CN Part Program,
Tooling & Fixture, Inspection Plan and CMM Part Programs availability)  
·  Parts availability status Deliveries vs Plan  
·  Technical Validation  
·  Process Robustness (DPU, FTY, Scrap)  
·  Cost-out analysis

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with significant experience in Manufacturing). 
·  Experience in Manufacturing role  
·  Ability to manage technical team and to
work into a Program Platform  
·  Strong interpersonal and leadership
skills  
·  Ability to read engineering drawings and technical
specifications  
·  Problem solving  
·  Manage more activities
simultaneously  
·  Ability to work in a matrix organization  
·  English and Italian fluent  
·  EU work permit
Desired Characteristics

·  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Industrial
Engineering  
·  Significant experience in Manufacturing, gearbox is a
plus  
·  Prior experience with Lean Manufacturing  
·  Prior experience with
Six Sigma
