Role Summary/Purpose

Perform control of blades in connection with guidelines in the quality system, and present criteria of acceptance. Perform follow-up on improvements, and participate in projects regarding improvements. Be a specialist in discussions with the production. Approve and reject basic materials, processes, subtopics, and end products according to specifications.
Essential Responsibilities

Verify conformance to specification by measuring and testing during in-house manufacturing. Perform product inspections, witness points to control quality. Executes routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision. Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information. Works within a team setting and / or under guidance. 

Alternatively: executing routine but complex analysis. 

Conduct random checks on all blades in the production, and provide guidance and support to blade production 
Approve or reject raw materials, processes, constituent parts, and end products according to specifications 
Carry out other quality-related ad hoc assignments, 
Perform the NDT, 
Perform the Firewall inspection
Ensure blade production according to standard process and acceptance criteria. 

Provide input to the daily production meeting, and flag critical issues/deviations that need additional support, and help to perform route cause analysis in production in order to fix issues identified, Initiate repairs according to instructions, Treat and handle diverging materials, Perform QCR start-up and treatment. Identify near misses and unsafe conditions, and act and report to immediate supervisor, Maintain a tidy workplace, Support continuous improvement activities
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing preferably in Quality function.
