Essential Responsibilities

· • Create part definitions, 3D CAD models, assemblies & 2D drawings
• Co-ordinate with component owners & program managers to understand the scope of the activities and contribute to design concepts
• Support Master Model reviews & deliver on PDE components ownership
• Work with configuration management team to ensure CAD model is in-line with PLM bill of materials and change management practices
• Pro-actively interact with cross functional teams (sourcing, manufacturing etc.) to incorporate all the requirements
• Understand the project priorities, timelines and ensure quality of the deliverables
• Self-directing environment with complete project ownership
• Lead initiatives
• Effectively communicate and document results for internal and external customers
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with 4-6 years of relevant experience OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7-9 years of relevant experience.
• Sound expertise in CAD skills: 3D solid modeling, routing & drafting
• Good experience in modelling of Heavy machinery components and Mechanical/Electrical routing
• Sound expertise in UG NX and Teamcenter/PLM tools...Minimum of 3 years experience
• Sound Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) practices
• Understanding on Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) systems
