Role Summary/Purpose
In this role, you will be responsible for the daily execution of assigned electrical tasks and projects. You will also be self-directed, working within defined parameters & work plans to meet day-to-day and short-term objectives. The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for machine tool wiring, troubleshooting, and support mechanical assembly and disassembly of machines. The Electrical Maintenance Technician will also be expected to operate and run all equipment systems.
Essential Responsibilities
· Perform all assigned tasks, perform electrical preventative maintenance work throughout the facility in accordance with GE specifications
· Document all preventative maintenance work in accordance with GE specifications
· Install and checkout all equipment and machines
· Act as technical resource for all electrical matters
· Participate in project planning and engineering, acting as subject matter expert for all facility electrical projects
· Work with and direct on-site contractors on large scale projects
Qualifications/Requirements
· High school diploma / GED
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial electrical field
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):
· Must be Journeyman electrician
Desired Characteristics
· Previous experience working on Additive manufacturing equipment, specifically BinderJet, M2, and Arcam
· Previous experience installing Sintering Furnaces, DED Wire Cells, and project testing electrical facilities
